Props on set

Many props were used on the set when filming purity. Many used in the bedrooms scenes were used to create a feeling of homeliness and godliness and to really set the mise en scene. Because of this many candles where used, in particular tea light candles. Partly due to the fact that they are often used in the catholic religion as a religious symbol and also due to the fact that they are inexpensive and easy to replace while also doing a lot in the way off actually setting the scene.
Also provided was a pack of simple home yankee candles in order to fill up the space and make the scene look fuller.

 Incense sticks where also used in order to make the scene look more full and give a religious feel.
Further to this many pillows and blankets where used to make the bed appear homely and cover things what would give away the illusion of the room being a bedroom.
