Middle: SCENE 2 EXT. CHURCH DOOR EARLY MORNING

FA: good morning. Are you in need of refuge, my child, you look troubled. 

SJ: yes, please, somewhere to stay, I have nowhere and no one.

FA (SHOUTING): Sister Mary! Come to the aid of this poor girl.

SM (OFF SCREEN CALLING): Yes Father, tell her to come through

Scene 3. int church

SM: you're a sweet girl Sister Judith. I'm glad the lord brought you too us. The world is a cruel place no one should be living in destitution.

SJ: Thank you for taking me in, I'm so lucky that you have accepted me I've met countless other young people on the streets, God help them.

SM: God will find a way, he always does and he has guided you too us.

BODY LANGUAGE INDICATES RAPPORT BETWEEN THEM

FA ENTRANCE

FA: Sister Mary I need you too contact brother James about his guest speaking and maintain the up keeping of the church. You have been slacking lately my child.

SM (NODS SLIGHTLY): Yes father

2.) SCENE 4 INT. CHURCH

FA: You've settled in really well here and it's been a pleasure to have you, you're a perfect example of why we should all try to help others, there's hope for everyone.

SJ: Thank you, my situation would be unimaginable without your good grace Father.
FA: I can tell you've never been shown love before.
SJ: Well, I er, had a good relationship with my parents when I was young but
FA (interrupting): relations can get abrasive as you age with parents, but don't worry you retain all your sweet and youthful character. Although, that was a cleverly cruel joke earlier
SJ: it's always assumed that people in my situation aren't intelligent and should be seen but not heard.
FA: Yes, people attempt to not even see people on the streets nevermind hear, they become a sad part of the furniture. I'll tell you something I'm not supposed to, intellect and free thinking are discouraged, especially with women, but you should, you always have something to say because I value it.
SJ: (half coy smile)
(tension builds but is interrupted by a non diegetic sound of a knock at the door). Father Abraham exit, reentry of Sister Mary

3.) SM: I've listened to your discussions with FA about history and all the bad men in it. Bad men aren't just from the past SJ and kindess can be a powerful guise .(sister mary moves closer to sister judith).
SJ: But, his kindness is overwhelming sister. What are you saying?
SM: Sister Judith, be careful. His words once tricked me and I can't bear to watch it happen to someone else.(SJ moves closer towards SM in a state of shock to offer comfort)
SJ: Oh my Sister, I had no idea, but I'm sure his intentions are good. ( SM moves closer to whisper in SJ ear)
SM: His charm is a large part of him, but that's all it is. He lured me in and took advantage of my weaknesses. I won't let this happen to you.

fastforward in time

4A.) FA: Are you alright SJ, you appear not to have been yourself the past few days
 SJ: I, have felt conflicted
FA: Within yourself?
SJ: Yes, and no
FA: I think..
SJ: (anxiously) Tell me what you think
FA: That you are at a crossroad with an important choice, one road leads to happiness and gratification ordained by the Lord. The other, well that's unknown because I've never travelled down it but a sister that you're acquainted with here has taken her first steps.
(They get up and go to the room, she has a slight nervous disposition)

6.) FA: (SJ visibly pregnant, FA talking to a congregation) She has to go, everything she touches has been corrupted, it's almost the antithesis of the virgin birth. Perhaps she has been sent to test us.
