1.
A child (baby) being left on a doorstep.
2.
Shows short clips of him growing up on his
birthdays and aging
3.
Shows that he won’t blow out his candles every
year because “she’s watching” could have shots what look like homemade videos? Can
use phones to film them?
4.
Scene where mum turns lights out for bed, closes
door and he gets up and turns them on because he needs the lights on.
Middle
1.
Power cut in the house and close up of the young
boy screaming.
2.
Mum turning candles on to make him feel safe.
3.
A strange figure in black blows them out that
only he can see.
4.
He begins drawing pictures of her everywhere
around the house.
5.
Gets to his birthday and he gets told to blow
his candles out.
6.
Left in the darkness he sees glimpses of the
lady in black
7.
The lights in the house start flashing as he is
crying and he sees the faces of lots of children then the lady.
End
1.
She reaches out her hand for him but he will not
take it.
2.
She tells him that she is his real mother.
3.
At night she watches him sleep and goes into his
dreams.
4.
When his mother that brings him up is doing her
makeup she stares into the mirror and she turns into the lady in black.
5.
She then goes and gets the child and says that
they are going on a ‘walk’
6.
She kills the child and walks off into the woods
with him.
