Sister Mary
A nun is a member of a religious community of women, typically one living under vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. She may have decided to dedicate her life to serving all other living beings, or she might be an ascetic who voluntarily chose to leave mainstream society and live her life in prayer and contemplation in a monastery or convent.
What do nuns wear?
Cistercians in their religious habit (with the black Scapular). The religious habit of the Sisters of the Annunciation is white, with a red scapular and a black veil. The religious habit of the Franciscan Friars and Nuns of the Immaculate is blue, sometimes including also a blue scapular.
Rules when being a nun
- You must be a Catholic woman. (in our film we need to ensure that we portray the nuns as very catholic women)
- You must be single. (this is what we could use as the reason as to why she gets kicked out)
- You must not have any dependent children.(this could also be a possible reason)
- You must not have any debts upon entrance to the novitiate.
- You must be healthy (ensure that we make ourselves look hungry)
- You must 18 to 40-ish years old. (look the age)
